PARTICIPATION POLICY
1.1 Skade Limited agrees to reserve you a place in the Event. The reservation of a place in the Event does not grant you a right to participate in the Event. Skade Limited will only grant you the right to participate entry to the Event once all of the Event terms and conditions have been satisfied and you have been provided with your race pack per Clause 1.3 below.
1.2 You agree to participate in the Event which Skade Limited has reserved you a place. You also agree to abide by these Terms and Conditions of Event Participation, and any instructions given to you by the organisers and officials of the Event. The payment of the Event Participation Fee marks the conclusion of your commitment to participate in the Event and to abide by these Terms and Conditions.
1.3 The right to participate in the Event will only be granted by Skade Limited when it provides you with your race pack, which will only be provided to you on the day of the Event. The race pack will only be provided when you present Skade Limited with your completed Legal and Medical Disclaimer that states you are fit to race and that you are aware of the health and safety risks associated with participating in the Event, confirmation of your identity with photograph identification and any other documentation required by Skade Limited.
CURRENCY OF PURCHASE
2.1 All transactions will be conducted in Pounds Sterling. An invoice will not be supplied with the confirmation of your entry, although a confirmation email will be sent to the registered email address.
START TIME
3.1 At the time of registration you will be asked to indicate a preferred wave time. Skade Limited reserves the right to alter this start time with as much notice to entrants as reasonably practicable. You agree that no refund in full or in part shall be made for any change in start time for an event provided the event takes place on the specified date of the event.
REFUND AND DEFERRAL POLICY
4.1 Skade Limited will not issue a refund if you are unable to participate in an Event you have registered for due to injury, illness, pregnancy or any other reason.
4.2 Participants can defer entry to a separate later event date by e-mailing contact@monsterrace.co.uk 7 clear days prior to the date of the Event.
EVENT AMENDMENT/CANCELLATION
5.1 Skade Limited reserves the right to cancel an event if:
(a) Circumstances beyond our reasonable control arise;
(b) One month before the Event Date we have not, in our sole discretion, received sufficient number of applications to ensure that there are enough participants to make the Event economically viable.
5.2 The Participant is aware that the Event is not guaranteed to take place at the time of booking.
5.3 If an event is re-located, no refunds shall be given if the event is re-located within an area of 50 miles radius of the original Event location.
5.4 Should an event be cancelled within 30 days Skade Limited will provide a full refund with no further liability whatsoever arising from such event cancellation. If an event is rescheduled for an alternative future date and a participant is unable to attend the rescheduled event date, he will not be entitled to claim a refund and Skade Limited shall have no further liability whatsoever arising from such change of date.
COMMUNICATION
6.1 Skade Limited uses email to communicate with its competitors. By entering an Event, you agree to receive emails regarding the specific event. Skade Limited cannot be responsible if event information does not reach the intended recipient by email. Skade Limited can only be responsible for ensuring that emails are sent to the email address provided: it is the responsibility of the entrant to ensure that emails from contact@monsterrace.co.uk are not marked as Spam (ideally by entering this email address into their address books).
FINAL DECISION
7.1 All decisions by Skade Limited, its employees and its agents are considered final.
